"1.Cad É an céatadán daoine atá ag cloí leis an mbeartas chun a ndramhaíl a roinnt idir an araid dramhaíola dhonn agus araid dramhaíola uaithne agus araid dramhaíola dhubh agus an bhfuil aon fhianaise mar a tuairiscíodh go minic go bhfuil drogall ar dhaoine an araid dhonn a Úsáid agus an bhfuil plean ag an gComhairle an fhadhb sin a shárú ?

2.Cén sórt faireachán atá ann ar na cuideachta príobháideacha dramhaíola maidir leis an mbeartas seo?

1. What percentage of people is adhering to the policy to divide their waste between brown waste bins and black and green bins and is there evidence as has been reported often that there exists a reluctance of people to use the brown bin and what plan has the Council to overcome this problem?

2. What monitoring is done on the private waste companies having regard to this policy?"

Stop Comhairle Contae Átha Cliath Theas ag feidhmiú an chórais bailithe bruscair i Mí Aibreáin 2011. Léiríonn na figiúirí a chuir Comhairle Cathrach Bhaile Átha Cliath thar ceann Comhairle Contae Átha Cliath Theas don suirbhé náisiúnta dramhaíola i 2011 an méid seo a leanas -

20,135 tonna a bailíodh san araid ghlas,
7483 tonna a bailíodh san araid dhonn,
19,503 tonna a bailíodh san araid liath agus chuaigh sé díreach chuig líonadh talún, agus
10,223 tonna a bailíodh san araid liath agus iad a sheoladh le haghaidh cóireála idirmheánach (baineann sé seo nuair nach bhfuil aon araid dhonn ann agus bíonn na orgánaice Á deighilt amach trí chóireáil).

Leagann Fodhlíthe um Stóráil, Cur i Láthair agus Bailiú Dramhaíl Tí Comhairle Contae Átha Cliath Theas amach freagrachtaí Éagsúla de shealbhóir* dramhaíola i ndáil le, ach níl sé teoranta dóibh, dramhaíola a stóráil, an cineál dramhaíola is féidir a bhailiú, deighilt dramhaíola ag an bhfoinse, cur i láthair dramhaíl a bhailiú, agus bailiú dramhaíola.

South Dublin County Council stopped operating the refuse collection system in April 2011. The figures submitted by DCC on SDCC behalf for the national waste survey 2011 show the following –

20,135 tonnes collected in green bins,

7,483 tonnes collected in brown bins,

19,503 tonnes collected in grey bins and went direct to landfill, and

10,223 tonnes collected in grey bins and sent for intermediate treatment (this applies where there is no brown bin and the organics are separated out through treatment).
