MOTION NO. 17

MOTION: Councillor E. Higgins

"That the Manager would congratulate Council staff on the installation of exercise equipment in three parks in the area."

REPORT:

Equipment has been installed in Griffeen Valley Park, Hermitage Park and Waterstown Park.   The equipment facilitates a combination of toning, flexing and strengthening exercises to be undertaken by the user.  Feedback so far has been very positive.

If this motion is passed, the Committee's congratulations will be passed on to all Council staff involved with the project.
