MOTION NO. 11

MOTION: Councillor T. Ridge

To congratulate all involved in the wonderful cleanups and planting of Clondalkin and to acknowledge the volunteers and the assistance of Community and Parks and that this initiative will become an ongoing feature in the Clondalkin Area.

REPORT:

The Clondalkin Tidy Towns have done considerable work in Clondalkin this year. They were one of 5 entries from South Dublin County in the 2012 Tidy Towns Competition,  The reports for all entries can be found at this link. The marks awarded to Clondalkin was 202 and the report contains some very positive comments about the work of the group. The Council will continue to support the group in its efforts.

If this motion is passed , the Committee's congratulations will be passed on to the Tidy Towns volunteers in Clondalkin and the staff of Community and Parks.
