MOTION: Councillor C. Bond

Could the council please examine the feasibility of increasing the speed limit on the section of the Ballycullen road between the woodstown roundabout and the Firhouse road.

REPORT:

Speed limits can only be altered by means of a bye law with the approval of the Garda Authorities and the NRA. This is a reserved funtion of the Council members. The current speed limits accross the County are being reviewed and it is hoped to go to public consultation shortly on this matter.
