MOTION: Councillor P. Cosgrave

Cathaoirleach's Business

"That the Manager find funding to erect railing at (Address Supplied). There are constant incursions on the wall, roof and gardens of the tenants of (Address Supplied) from tenants behind climbing the wall and using the tenants home as a short cut to the local shop causing much distress to the tenant and family. The same problem occurred in other houses and the Council has put up new railings."

REPORT:

The Anti Social Response team for the area will visit the tenants to investigate the reported problem.  When this investigation is complete a solution to the problem will be discussed with the tenant.  

Unfortunately due to the current economic climate and the constraints on our budget, the Estate Management Section are not currently in a position to consider carrying out any remedial works.  If the solution involves the erection of railing they will be listed with other such locations for consideration when funding becomes available.
