MOTION: Councillor M. Devine

That this Council corresponds with Minister Hogan to express dismay at the reversal of the decision to upgrade and extend Tallaght fire station that serves Dublin South West

REPORT:

Necessary small scale remedial works were carried out late last year/ early this year while further intermediate remedial works are being undertaken at present. Should funding be made available to fund the major capital works, the planned upgrade and extension of Tallaght Fire Station will be undertaken.

If the Motion is passed a letter will issue to the Minister as requested.
