HEADED ITEM NO. 9a)Resignation of Cllr J Hannon as Chairperson  of Environment Strategic Policy Council

REPORT:

Councillor John Hannon was appointed Chairperson of the Environment Strategic Policy Committee by this Council at the Annual (Inaugural) Meeting in June 2009.    He has now submitted notification of his resignation from that position with effect from 31^st August 2012.

It is now a matter for this Council to fill the vacancy in the chair of the SPC with the  new appointment to be effective from 1st September 2012.
