QUESTION: Councillor T. Gilligan

To ask the Manager to outline how many litter bins in South Dublin council have been removed and the number of bins is outlined between 2009 - present?

REPLY:

Since April 2011, litter bins have been removed at the following locations:

• Woodford Rd @ roundabout near Boomers pub moved to Yellow meadows (due to domestic waste being left in and around the bin on numerous occasions);
• Oak Court Estate Bin removed (due to vandalism and dumping);
• Firhouse Rd West @ Kiltipper Ave removed (damaged);
• Killinarden Ring R.d 2 bins removed (damaged);
• Kiltipper Way bus stop near roundabout removed (damaged);
• Limekiln Ave @ Temple Manor bus terminus removed (damaged).
