MOTION NO. 13

MOTION: Councillor W. Lavelle

"That this Committee requests the Manager to present a detailed report, for discussion, on the current ‘live’ planning applications applying to the unfinished and undeveloped betweenTullyhall estate and the Adamstown link road; and to further outline what avenues are available to the council to seek to:

• Improve the residential amenity of those residents already living in the unfinished Tullyhall Mews development;
• Require reinstatement of demolished walls at the end of existing cul-de-sacs, in place of palisade fencing erected;
• Address ongoing concerns of trespassing, dumping and vermin on the undeveloped lands."

REPORT:

The original planning reference is SD05A/0274.
This was appealed to ABP reference PL06S.216131 and granted with conditions. This grant was valid until 4/08/2011.
Further PP reference SD08A/0581 for amendments to previously granted was granted on 29/07/2009.
SD05A/0274 had an Extension Permission granted  until 4 / 08/2016 including all amendments granted under SD08A/0581 and the ABP conditions.
SD05A/0274 granted vehicular access from Tullyhall  Way, Close and Drive and pedestrian access from Tullyhall Park.
A further application was made on that section of the development omitted by ABP.
Its reference is SD07A/0683 and it was granted permission  on 11/03/08  and is valid until 11/03/2013.

The issues raised have been discussed with the Developer who has confirmed that he will attend to them in the coming weeks.
