MOTION: Councillor M. Corr

That the Manager arranges for the landscaping of the roundabout at the entrance to Sundale Road/Kiltalown Road/De Selby Estate in consultation with the Residents action group in Sundale exploring the possiblity of incorporating the social credits scheme.

REPORT:

The landscaping of the roundabout at Sundale Road/Kiltalown Road/De Selby estate will be raised for discussion with the Roads Department as there is no provision in the current years budget for this work.

While the Social Credits Scheme is available to community groups and residents who take positive environmental action in their local area, careful consideration would have to be given to any application to carry out works on a District Distributor Road because of the public safety implications that would arise.
