To ask the Manager to provide an update on the issue of antisocial behaviour in Kilcronan estate?
REPLY:
Representatives from the Estate Management/Anti social unit, South Dublin County Council, Gardai, NABCO Housing Association and Residents from Kilcronan Estate met on 26th April, 2012 to discuss various issues in relation to Kilcronan.
One of the main issues raised at this meeting was of the design of some of the NABCO units, as this was a concern to residents in the area. The design of some of the units resulted in creating an area where anti social behaviour could occur. It was undertaken by NABCO at this meeting to explore the feasibility of gates at this location.
Since this meeting the Anti Social unit has not received any complaints of anti social behaviour however residents may report incidents of same through the following channels if necessary:
