QUESTION: Councillor J. Hannon

"To ask the Manager to confirm if, following contact from Development Dept, necessary works were carried out to prevent sites at * addresses supplied  from becoming derelict?"

REPLY:

With regard to the site adjacent to *address supplied*, letters were issued in 2009 requesting that works be done in order to prevent the sites becoming derelict.   As the sites were not deemed to be derelict the files were then closed. 

The Envrionmental Services Department will now re-open the files and a new inspection will be carried out to ascertain if works are necessary and if the site is deemed to be derelict.  The Councillor will be informed of the outcome of the inspections.
