MOTION: Councillor T. Delaney

That this Committee congratulates and commends all concerned with the marvellous facility that is Grange Castle Golf Club, the SDCC grounds staff for the fantastic presentation of the course, the Management team for the running of the facility and the Golf Club for their continuous promotion of the game particularly making it available to the younger generation in the county.

REPORT:

The positive comments are most welcomed especially in the challenging economic times that are faced and the competitive market that exists in the golfing arena.  The comments will be forwarded to all staff concerned.
