MOTION NO. 3

MOTION: Councillor P. Cosgrave

"That the Manager give an update on the ongoing reinstatement of trees and other issues from the Boherboy water scheme at Prospect Manor. I have forwarded details to the projects Engineer Brendan Curran who forwarded these details to the Parks Department."

REPORT:

There has been a lot of engagement between the Project RE Team and the Prospect Manor's Residents Association (PMRA) in recent months, this is primarily due to ongoing pipe testing works in the estate as well as discussions on addressing some outstanding snagging works left by Pierse Contracting Limited (in Liquidation).  Agreement has been reached with PMRA in relation to the outstanding planting.  Agreement has also been reached in relation to the outstanding snagging works, a list of snags has been identified and agreed with PMRA.  The Completion Contractor Ward & Burke Construction Limited have been issued with the outstanding snag list.  Ward & Burke have confirmed that all snag works will be completed by the end of July.  There may be some additional works required after the pipe testing works have been completed.  The RE Team have agreed to meet with PMRA once the pipe testing works are complete to review the area of the works and the reinstatement required.
