MOTION: Councillor J. Lahart

"That the Manager provide for the clearing of undergrowth, as recommended by the local Garda Superintendent, which is providing a haven for serious anti-social behaviour, in Woodfield Estate (between Woodfield and neighbouring vacant land) and that this area be maintained on a regular basis."

REPORT:

Contact has been made with the Gardaí in relation to the alleged problems in the area.  It is intended to meet with the residents in the area as well as with the Gardaí to see what the Council can do to deal with the problems that have been identified.
