MOTION: Councillor E. Higgins

"To congratulate students from St. Joseph's College on their recent award conferred to them by Eco UNESCO."

REPORT:

St Joseph's College, Lucan won the Junior ECO- Art & Design (joint) Category award in the Eco- Unesco Young Environmentalist Awards for their project  Eco Warriors: Our Action/The Reaction. The award was presented by the President of Ireland, Michael D. Higgins at the Gala Showcase and Awards Ceremony at the Mansion House on Tuesday 8th May.

If this motion is passed the Council will pass on congratulations to the students and teachers.
