MOTION: Councillor C. King

That this Committee calls on the Manager to report on progress made in relation to the delivery of the much needed and debated pedestrian crossing on Fortunestown Lane which will serve the residents of MacUilluim Estate.

REPORT:

Following discussions with the Housing Department who had previously met with local residents, quotations are now being sought for the installation of a pedestrian crossing in the vicinity of the Bernardos building.

It is intended that work will commence in the next 4 to 6 weeks.
