QUESTION: Councillor B. Lawlor

"To ask the Manager,to remove the small shrubs on Ballycullen Drive,(Location on back wall of Killakee view on Ballycullen Drive) which year on year block the pathway during the summer months?

REPLY:

The Council has no plans to remove the shrubs along the back wall of Killakee View, as these shrubs provide an effective screen along the boundary wall. However, the Parks and Landscape Services Section will arrange to prune back any overgrown shrubs that are encroaching onto the pedestrian footpath.
