QUESTION: Councillor C. King

"To ask the Manager if SDCC has instructed a private contractor to examine the drains in Knockmore Park  recently and if it has what is the purpose of these ongoing investigations and can the Manager make a statement on the matter?"

REPLY:

The Water Services Department has not carried out any works on the sewers in the Knockmore Park area nor have they employed a Contractor to carry out works on their behalf recently. We understand that the Housing Section employed a Contractor to clear some private drains in the estate recently.
