MOTION: Councillor T. Gilligan

That this Council considers modifying the layout to the pathway on Boot Road (where the white trees are).  Currently there are grass verges all along the edge of the paths. The residents are looking for something similar to outside the houses on Orchard Road where the trees are.  Can the Council meet with residents to discuss this further to bring plans forward?

REPORT:

Roads Maintenance will not be removing the grass verges on Boot Road and replacing them with hardstanding. There are very substantial grass verges at the location and hardstanding would encourage parking in the verges.
