MOTION: Councillor T. Delaney

That the Manager will instigate an accessibility audit on the footpath/road network in Clondalkin Village with a view to improving independent movement for wheelchair bound residents.

REPORT:

It is the Council's policy to make all footpaths/road network accessible to all road users.  Currently, various design options for a footpath are being considered for Old Nangor Road between Millpark and Clondalkin Village on the northern side.  Any specific areas that require particular attention in the Village can be referred to the Council for investigation and possible inclusion on the works programme.
