QUESTION: Councillor P. Cosgrave

"To ask the Manager to give a report on the Street Lighting near and at the entrance from the Knocklyon Road into Darglewood Upper. There are trees blocking the Street Lighting and not enough Light Standards?"

REPLY:

The location of the street lighting at the entrance to Darglewood Upper has been studied and it is proposed to include an additional public lighting column on Darglewood Upper near its junction with Knocklyon Road. 

Overgrowth by tree branches will be inspected to ascertain if pruning will be required after the nesting season.
