QUESTION: Councillor E. Tuffy

To compliment the Roads Department on the additional yellow lining at various locations in "the Cell" in Palmerston, in response to requests from residents and to ask if an approximate figure for the financial investment in these works over the past two years can be provided?

REPLY:

The Council has installed yellow lines in various locations in the area over recent times. The lines cost approx €2.0 per linear metre to install on bitumen surface and € 4.0 on a concrete surface and does not include for repair cost to damaged surface.
