MOTION NO. 25

MOTION: Councillor B. Bonner

That the Manager would present a report on the issue of flooding in the Lealand area of Clondalkin and what is planned to alleviate this problem.

REPORT:

The Drainage Direct Labour Crew plan to commence work at Lealand Drive during the week ending the 17th of March 2012. They will be diverting the surface water drains from the front of the 10 houses at 15 to 33 (odd) Lealand Drive that outfall to Lealand Drive at the moment so that the drains will outfall onto Bawnogue Road at the back of these houses and will be installing a number of gullys on this new line at the footpath at the back of these houses to pick up rainwater runoff from the grassed area to the rear of these houses.
