SOUTH DUBLIN COUNTY JOINT POLICING COMMITTEE REPORT

The Joint Policing Committee met on February 10th in County Hall, Tallaght, Dublin 24.

The report of the November meeting was adopted.

The following is a summary of the business of the JPC.

A presentation was made by the South Dublin Chamber and local traders on the illegal sale of cigarettes in the County.

Garda reports presented by Chief Superintendent John Manley and Chief Superintendent Declan Coburn.

Reports were presented from the following Local Policing Fora

• Tallaght
• Clondalkin
• North Clondalkin

Reports were presented on behalf of the two working groups of the JPC:

1.  Intimidation

2.  Parks

The next meeting is scheduled for Friday, 25^th May, 2012 and will take place in the Council Chamber, Tallaght.
