MOTION: Councillor E. Higgins

That the Manager presents a report on how public realm funding will be spent in the Lucan / Palmerston area.

REPORT:

Arising from a discussion at the Council’s Budget Meeting in December a programme is being devised at the moment that will focus primarily on flood risk alleviation at locations highlighted by the extreme adverse weather on the 24th October 2011. Once these works are defined and costed, any remaining resources will be allocated to works identified in the Task Force Schedule of Public Realm works.
