The Council is continually examining the allocation of the available resources and a specific priority is given to frontline and priority services. The challenge for the Council as it moves forward is to continue to reassign staff to maintain frontline and priority services within the context of the diminishing resources now available and the ongoing moratorium on staff recruitment. This Council has successfully managed to achieve this balance to date.
