QUESTION: Councillor E. Coburn

"To ask the Manger to report on the placement of information stickers on the pay and display machines in Rathfarnham village and the briefing to the Traffic Wardens on the observation and implementation of the information message contained on these stickers.( Sticker information as per February 2012 RAC meeting)?"

REPLY:

Stickers have been ordered. They advise drivers that a period of 10 minutes is given to allow drivers to organise payment, a copy of the sticker showing its text is included with this report. As soon as practical the stickers will be installed.

No operational change is invoked as the 10 minute period is currently within the protocol for issuing fixed charge notices. The wardens will be advised of the official deployment of the stickers.
