QUESTION: Councillor E. Higgins

To ask the Manager what obligations apply to the M50 construction and N4 upgrade works (which are to be funded by the 2012 NRA's allocation to South Dublin County Council for the maintenance and upgrade of national routes in the County) with respect to the maintenance of grass medians and verges?

REPLY:

The maintenance of the M50 is now the responsibility of M50 Concession and Jons are responsible for grass maintenance on their contract for 2012.

The NRA allocations are part of the funding due to complete the construction of the schemes.
