QUESTION: Councillor W. Lavelle

To ask the Manager for an update on the taking-in-charge of Mount Bellew Estate and in particular to further advise if accurate CCTV and as-constructed drawings have been resubmitted?

REPLY:   

The Council have been actively involved with Fitzgibbon Bros on the remaining issues in the development, and last year as constructed drawings and CCTV submitted were reviewed and deemed inadequate. Since then the Council has verified that surface remedial works are completed and also acceptable as constructed drawings have been received. Therefore the remaining issue is the receipt of acceptable CCTV footage of underground services.  It is envisaged that provided acceptable CCTV requested is submitted, that the development could be taken in charge in 2012.
