Dodder Valley Survey 

REPORT:

In the context of Specific Local Objective No. 86 of the County Development Plan 2010-2016 which relates to the preparation of an action plan for the extension of the Dodder Valley Linear Park upstream from Old Bawn Bridge to Bohernabreena, funding of €10,000 has been granted by the Heritage Council towards an ecological assessment of the river section in question.  In order to fully assess the natural heritage resource of any potential extension to the linear park, an ecological assessment is required to be undertaken by qualified ecologists.  It is intended to commence such a study as soon as survey conditions are appropriate.
