QUESTION: Councillor D. Looney

"To ask the Manager, in the light of various reports of sewerage difficulties in the Cromwellsfort Road area over recent months and years, to confirm the status of the public sewer system in the area and to clarify if it is in need of repair or replacement?"

REPLY:

Since the Drainage Direct Labour crew carried out major works on the Cromwellsfort Road junction with Cherry Road in May/June 2010, the Drainage Section is not aware of any problems with the public sewer system in this general area and has no plans to do any works here.
