SD11A/0307 Reg. Date: 21-Dec-2011 Applicant’s Name: G, J & R Stanley Submission Type: New Application         Location: 9 - 20, Peyton Close, Peyton, Stoney Road, Rathcoole, Co. Dublin Proposed Development: The change of house types and resulting minor alterations to site layout, previously granted planning permission under Reg. Ref. SD09A/0384 and SD11A/0170, from 12 no. 4 bedroom 2 storey with second floor in roof space semi-detached houses (M&M1 Type) to 15 houses comprising, 9 no. 3 bedroom, 2 storey terrace houses (K3 Type), 4 no. 3 bedroom with study 2 storey terrace houses with second floor in roof space and pend entrances to rear gardens (Q Type) and 2 no. 3 bedroom 2 storey terrace houses with second floor in roof space (Q1&Q2 Type) along with all other ancillary site development works.  Permission is also sought for amendments to footpath and car parking layout in front of houses 21 to 26 Peyton Close inclusive, previously granted planning permission under Reg. Date: 09-Jan-2012 Applicant’s Name: Digital Realty Trust Submission Type: New Application         Location: Profile Park, Nangor Road, Clondalkin, Dublin 22 Proposed Development: Revisions and alterations to the permitted development of a data processing facility under planning reference SD11A/0023 consisting on minor alterations to the four permitted data centre/warehouse structures, additional internal floor areas, alterations to sub-station structures and car park layout to be provided on a phased basis (it is proposed to extend the life of the planning permission to 7 years).  The construction of the four data centre/warehouse buildings totals 23278 sq.m. (an increase of 2188sq.m.) and associated site works comprising the following areas: Two Type 'A' buildings each with 1872sq.m. of data halls, 697sq.m. of offices/recption, 1934sq.m. of support space/staff facilities/internal plant giving each a total internal floor area of 4503sq.m. (previously 3582sq.m.) and 1483sq.m. of external plant - total area for both Type 'A' is 11972sq.m. (previously 11094sq.m.);   Two Type 'B' buildings each with 1872sq.m. of data halls, 419sq.m. (previously 67sq.m.) of offices/reception; 1879sq.m. support space/staff facilities/internal plant giving a total internal floor area of 4170sq.m. (previously 3005sq.m.) and 1483sq.m. of external plant - total area for both Type 'B' structures is 11306sq.m. (previously 9996sq.m.)   The Data Centre part of the building is single storey reacing a maximum of 8.6m in height;  the plant area is to a maximum of 10.7m high (increase from 9m) and th etallest building is Type 'A' office building is 12.5m in height (increase from 10m).    4 substations accessed from the estate road to facilitate the development are now proposed;  each has an area of 49sq.m. and will be 3.75 metres in height.   The development will be constructed in 5 phases initially with the enabling site works and 2 substations; the subsequent phases will contain a single warehouse building starting with the northern-most building. A total of 84 car parking spaces will be provided together with recycling storage and all ancillary services and landscaping. There will be 2 site entrances from vehicular accesses permitted as part of business park infrastructure (SD06A/0568). Decision Due on or before: 04-Mar-2012  

SD12A/0006 Reg. Date: 17-Jan-2012 Applicant’s Name: Citywest Golf Suites Management Company Submission Type: New Application         Location: Citywest Golf Hotel, Citywest, Saggart, Co. Dublin Proposed Development: Modifications to approved developments (Reg. Refs: S01A/0450, SD02A/0631, SD06A/0508).  Planning permission sought for, (i) change of use of 140 aparthotel suites (twenty six x one bedroom and 114 x two bedroom) to 140 holiday apartments;  (ii) construction of forty six car parking spaces to bring total car parking spaces up to 225;  (iii) landscaping of roof top open spaces and  (iv) minor building works to each aparthotel suite.  Planning permission also sought for all site development works. SD12A/0014 Reg. Date: 26-Jan-2012 Applicant’s Name: Tesco Ireland Ltd. Submission Type: New Application         Location: Liffey Valley Shopping Centre, Fonthill Road, Clondalkin, Dublin 22 Proposed Development: Development consisting of 2 phases (1A and 1B):  Phase 1A comprises the construction of (i) a retail anchor of c. 7935sq.m. gross floor area (c. 3500sq.m. convenience net sales area and c.1728sq.m. comparison net sales area) including a licensed alcohol sales area, ancillary offices, staff facilities, bulk store and cage marshalling area at first floor level;  (ii) a cafe (235sq.m.) and retail services unit (180sq.m.) on the first floor level;  (iii) circulation space to include an atrium at ground and first floor levels;  (iv) signage;  (v) service yard at first floor level;  (vi) 551no. car parking spaces to be provided at grade, part under first floor retail;  (vii) CHP plant, ESB substation and all ancillary landscaping, site works and services;  (viii) road upgrades to the following junctions - (1) St. Lomans Road-Fonthill-Bothar an Life/Shancastle Avenue roundabout junction, (2) Fonthill Road/Coldcut Road junction, (3) Bothar an Life/Ascaill an Life roundabout junctions (west and south), (4) N4/Fonthill Road off-ramp junction.   Phase 1B comprises 5 no. ground floor retail services units (c.1041sq.m. total gross) and an additional 36no. car parking spaces at grade (to bring the total to 587no. spcaes) to be provided on completion of the east-west boulevard all on c.2.39ha site located to the southeast of the Liffey Valley Shopping Centre and north of the B & Q Unit off the Coldcut Road.  An Environmental Impact Statement is submitted with this application.
