Retaining bring bank sites at existing locations is a stated objective in the Council's Bring Bank Strategy and banks are only removed when there have been complaints from the landowner on which the bank is sited and when all the mitigation measures implemented by the Council and the Contractor servicing the units have failed to achieve a site that operates in accordance with the requirements.
In assessing new locations, the Council consider the convenience for householders travelling to these sites whilst minimising the noise and visual nuisances that may arise at certain banks.
