MOTION: Councillor B. Bonner

Cathaoirleach's Business

That this Area Committee recognises the benefits of the work done by the North Clondalkin and South West Clondalkin Community Safety Fora and requests that the Manager conveys the views of the Committee in this regard to the Minister of State, Jan O'Sullivan, T.D. with special responsibility for Housing and Planning (Department of the Environment, Community and Local Government) and requests that she would find alternative funding to enable the fora to continue their excellent work which has empowered the communities which they serve.

REPORT:

If the motion is passed the matter will be referred to the Minister of State, Jan O'Sullivan T.D. for her attention and when a reply is received the Committee will be notified accordingly.
