MOTION NO. 17

MOTION: Councillor W. Lavelle

That this Committee recommends that measures be implemented to address the unsightly appearance of the bring-banks at Griffeen Road (Moy Glas) and to further request that the bring-banks at Finnstown be relocated from the existing inappropriate location hidden behind the Lord Lucan Pub.

REPORT:

The Contractor who is engaged by South Dublin County Council to service bring banks in the County has been asked to clean the bring banks that are in place at Moy Glas Estate. 

The Council wrote on December 15th last to the owner of the site at the Lord Lucan in Finnstown where the bring banks are currently located raising the issue of possible relocation of the containers to another part of the site.  A response to that letter has not yet been received.
