MOTION NO. 24

MOTION: Councillor M. McDonagh

That the Clondalkin Area Committee supports the provision of pathways from Lealand Grove and Lealand Crescent to the traffic lights on the Nangor Road and requests the relevant Council Departments to provide this much needed amenity during the course of 2012.

REPORT:

This project was initially identified in 2011 and while it was not possible to proceed with the project at the time, a commitment was given that it would be considered in the context of the 2012 budget.  It is now proposed to provide the path from Lealand Grove to the traffic lights on the Nangor Road in the vicinity of the existing desire line.  The works will be undertaken during the course of 2012.
