QUESTION NO 6.
QUESTION: Councillor J. Hannon
To ask the Manager to report on the number and location of NAMA owned properties in South Dublin that, as per recent media reports, are to be utilised as social housing, and will he confirm the degree of consultation with him on this matter and if there is an implementation plan?
REPLY:
The Council has not had direct discussions with NAMA in relation to the provision of social housing units. There are general discussions between NAMA and the Housing Agency on availability of vacant dwellings for social use and once details of these discussions become available the members will be advised.
