a)   Clondalkin Area Committee – 7th December 2011

A1 LANDS AT RATHCOOLE

At the Clondalkin Area Committee Meeting on 7th December, 2011 the Members requested that a report in respect of the A1 Lands at Rathcoole be brought to a full meeting of South Dublin County Council. The request was made in the context of  Headed Item 9, A1 Lands at Rathcoole and is in accordance with Standing Orders.  The report is set out below.

REPORT:

The lands referred to in the attached map (approx 3.2ha) were newly zoned A1 in the South Dublin County Development Plan 2010-2016.

Given the limited extent of the lands in question adjacent to ongoing residential development which has ongoing approved residential development the June Clondalkin Area Committee Meeting approved that a non-statutory plan be prepared for these lands to allow for the orderly development of these lands in accordance with the requirements of the Development Plan.

This plan was prepared, please see attached document, and approved by the December Clondalkin Area Committee.

It is recommended that as this plan is non statutory, it should be Noted by Council.
