MOTION: Councillor M. Devine

To ask the Manager to invite AKIDWA, a group that supports immigrant African women in ireland, to make a presentation to this Council?

REPORT:

The Council is familiar with AKIDWA who are represented on the Civic Participation of Third Country Nationals through Local Authority Platforms (European Integration Funding).

It is not customary for the Council to receive presentations from various groups and a presentation from this group might be more appropriate to an SPC forum, either ACGE&L or Housing and Social Development.
