To ask the Manager to detail all sites currently on the Register of Derelict Sites?

REPLY:

The following are a list of derelict sites on the Council's Derelict Sites Register:

1. Former Shopping Arcade, St James Road, Walkinstown, Dublin 12 McHugh Management Company 19/12/2008
2. Site to the rear of 10 College Drive, Manor Avenue, Terenure, Dublin 6 William JP Egan 31/05/2010

Both cases are currently with the Council’s Law Department.

There are currently 21 sites in the administrative area of South Dublin County Council which are being  investigated under the Derelict Sites Act,1990.  These sites are regularly monitored and inspected by the Councils Area Engineer. 

To date this year there have been over 60 inspections/re-inspections of sites carried out and 16 Section 11 Notices have been served.
