FILLING OF VACANCY ON LOCAL AUTHORITY MEMBERS ASSOCIATION (Cllr. C. Keane)

REPLY:

The following report was presented to the Members at the Organisation, Procedure and Finance Committee Meeting held on 24^th November 2011:

“A vacancy exists on the Executive Committee of the Local Authority Members Association following the election of Councillor C. Keane to the Seanad.

It is a matter for the Council to appoint a replacement for Councillor C. Keane to the above position and this is now before the Members for consideration.”   End of Report to OP&F.

It was proposed by Councillor C. Brophy, seconded by Councillor G. O’Connell and RESOLVED:

“That Councillor T. Ridge be nominated to fill the vacancy on the Local Authority Members Association following the election of Councillor C. Keane to the Seanad.”

This matter is now before the Council for approval.
