QUESTION: Councillor D. Looney

To ask the Manager to repair Lights #5 and #6 in Greenhills Park and to make a statement on lighting in the park in general.?

REPLY:

Light No. 5 and 6 in Greenhills Park have been listed for repair as part of the Council’s Public Lighting Section maintenance programme. 

As part of the Parks Annual Works programme 2008, public lighting was installed along the pedestrian footpath between the entrance gates at St. Joseph’s Road and Limekiln Avenue.  Final landscape re-instatement works were carried out in the area surrounding the lighting poles during the summer months.  There are currently no proposals to install any additional lighting in Greenhills Park.
