QUESTION: Councillor D. Looney

"To ask the Manager if sandbags or other flood protection materials will be provided either via a depot or directly to residents and businesses susceptible to flooding of the Poddle, Dodder and other areas of the County, and to make a statement on the matter?"

REPLY:

Sandbags will be delivered to houses vunerable to flooding if requested or if the Drainage Section is notified they can be collected from Deansrath Depot. Sandbags and sand can also be bought in most hardwares at a reasonable price if nearer than Deansrath and wanted in a hurry.
