QUESTION: Councillor E. Tuffy

To ask the Manager for a report on meetings held with stakeholders, residents, business owners and taxi drivers to consider the matter of the provision of taxi ranks and regulated taxi queuing locations in and around Lucan Village?

REPLY:

As previously reported consultation with all stakeholders in relation to this matter is ongoing at present.  However it has not been possible to finalise the consultations with all parties due to the pressure of engagements and other meetings at this time.

As soon as the consultations have been completed a full report will be presented to a future meeting of this Area Committee for agreement with the Members.
