QUESTION: Councillor W. Lavelle

To ask the Manager for an update in response to my motion passed at the October meeting requesting a re-costing of plans for a swimming pool and leisure centre for Lucan?

REPLY:

The construction market has been in a state of flux for the last three years.  Budget costing is increasingly unreliable with tenders fluctuating.  The estimated budget cost for the Lucan Swimming Pool / Leisure Centre now stands at €10.8million.
