MOTION: Councillor M. Corr

That the Manager agrees to replace the manhole cover between 46 Gleann na Smol and 1 Cill Cais with a grated cover in order to avoid future flooding of homes at this location, in addition that he arranges for jetting of the drainage system in this area which is long overdue.

REPORT:

The manhole cover on the surface water sewer in the 46 Gleann na Smol/ 1 Cill Cais area has been replaced with a grated cover replacing the previous closed cover. This should relieve flooding problems in this area. The drainage system in this area will be jetted if it has not been done already.
