MOTION: Councillor E. Tuffy

That the Manager presents a report on consultation undertaken with stakeholders regarding new taxi rank arrangements for Lucan Village and if he can summarise the main concerns of the different stakeholder groups.

REPORT:

Consultations with all relevant stakeholders on the proposals developed for the provision of Taxi Rank facilities in Lucan Village have begun but are not yet advanced to the stage where a final report on the outcome of the consultation or a final design of the proposals can be presented to the Members.

When the consultations are concluded a summary report and final design proposal will be presented to a future meeting of this Area Committee for the agreement of the Members.
