QUESTION: Councillor J. Hannon

"To ask the Manager to respond to previous queries in relation to the very poor quality of maintenance/grass cutting at Bohernabreena Road, given that this is in marked contrast to the very good work done in nearby areas?"

REPLY:

The Council acknowledges that there were difficulties with the grass cutting at Bohernabreena Road earlier this year. As a result, steps were taken to correct the problems to improve the standard of maintenance. It is the intention of the Council to continue to undertake grass cutting on this road, to a standard similar to that applied to other roads in the area, having regard to the particular layout of the road as well as the relevant health & safety and traffic management requirements.
