QUESTION: Councillor B. Bonner

To ask the Manager to report on the extent to which the mediation process in relation to anti social behaviour is successful in the Clondalkin Electoral Area?

REPLY:

The Mediation Service in South Dublin is now conducted under the auspices of the Council's Community Department in conjunction with External mediators.  They have been requested to compile statistics about the effectiveness of the service in the Clondalkin area.    The views of the relevant external Mediators will be obtained and the report compiled in the coming weeks.

When the evaluation process is completed the findings will be made available to the Councillor.
